About us -
In November 2013, shortly after retiring from her 25-year career as an art teacher, Lynn Herklots decided to take a chance and to open ARTicles Gallery at a vacated hair salon on Wescott Road in Danielson, CT. Encouraged by the generous support of local residents, artists, and artisans, the gallery moved down the street to its new location in November 2015.

ARTicles Gallery continues to feature quallity, handcrafted products that anyone can be proud to own or to give as gifts to friends and family. Shoppers can select from a variety of items including fine art, pottery, wood, glass, jewelry, textiles, ornaments, candles, soaps, greeting cards, stationary, wind chimes, vintage items… and more.

We invite you to come in and browse the gallery and gift shop at a leisurely pace. Feel free to take your time to appreciate the unique workmanship of our featured regional artists and artisans.
Then be sure to return again (and again) whenever you are in the area to view our ever-evolving exhibit of paintings / works by new and established artists from throughout Northeastern Connecticut.
